The Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) on April 13, 2026, issued notifications regarding Punjab Industrial & Business Development Policy-2026, Sectoral Policies and Detailed Schemes & Operational Guidelines 2026.
The Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Punjab has issued multiple notifications for implementation and compliance. These include the notification of the Industrial and Business Development Policy, 2026, along with Sectoral Policies and the Detailed Schemes & Operational Guidelines, 2026, all dated March 8, 2026, aimed at promoting industrial and business growth in the state.
Additionally, a separate notification dated March 27, 2026 provides relaxation in timelines for filing Annual Production Reports under the earlier Industrial & Business Development Policy, 2017. This relaxation applies specifically to requirements under the Detailed Schemes & Operational Guidelines, 2018.
